Location-aware checkout

Show the right option to the right customer

SEPA transfer is shown to customers located in Europe when a bank-transfer provider is available for the amount. A transfer is only complete once the provider has received the money, which can take longer than a card payment.

Customers who are not eligible still see the other payment methods available for their region, so one unsupported option does not block the checkout.

  • Automatic regional filtering

PayLio only presents SEPA when the detected checkout region is supported.

  • Provider-hosted payment flow

Sensitive account and payment details stay within the third-party provider's authorization flow.

  • One consistent merchant payout

Customers get more ways to pay while your settlement workflow remains focused on Polygon USDC.

SEPA payment FAQ

Can my customers pay by SEPA bank transfer through PayLio?

Yes. Customers located in Europe see SEPA transfer at checkout when a provider that accepts bank transfers is available for the amount.

How long does a SEPA payment take?

It depends on the customer's bank and the provider. Card and wallet payments are usually confirmed faster; a bank transfer is only complete once the provider has received the funds. Your payout follows after that.

Do I need a European bank account to accept SEPA?

No. The customer sends the transfer to the payment provider. You receive the payout as USDC on Polygon in the wallet you entered for the payment.
