Introduction

Getting Started

PayLio is a high-risk payment gateway and crypto payment processor. Your customers pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, and the money goes to your own wallet. No KYC, no reserve, no SDK.

What is PayLio?#

PayLio is a high-risk payment gateway, a crypto payment processor and a card-to-crypto exchange in one checkout. It is built for merchants that traditional processors decline or freeze, and it pays every payment out to a wallet you control.

RoleWhat it means for you
Payment gatewayAccept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay through a hosted checkout with 15+ providers.
Crypto payment processorAccept USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL and more on 15 networks, forwarded to your wallet.
Card-to-crypto exchangeCard payments are exchanged into USDC by licensed on-ramp partners and settled on Polygon.

PayLio is non-custodial: funds go straight to your wallet, so there is no balance that can be frozen and no rolling reserve.

Who is PayLio for?#

Any online business, and especially high-risk merchants: forex desks, brokers and prop firms, adult and dating, gaming, supplements and nutra, streaming and IPTV, AI and SaaS. You do not need KYC or a merchant account. Illegal products and services are not allowed, see our terms.

Before you start#

You need two things:

  1. 1

    A PayLio account

    Create a free account. The Starter plan has no monthly fee; you only pay a per-payment fee (see Fees & Limits).

  2. 2

    A Polygon wallet

    Any wallet that can receive USDC on Polygon works (for example MetaMask, Rabby, Trust Wallet or an exchange deposit address that supports Polygon). Add it under Dashboard › Settings.

Double-check your wallet address

Payouts are on-chain and cannot be reversed. Make sure the address supports USDC on Polygon. Funds sent to the wrong network or address cannot be recovered.

Choose how to integrate#

There are four ways to take a payment. Pick the one that fits how you sell.

Your first payment with the API#

Generate an API key in Dashboard › API Keys, then create a checkout. The response contains a checkout_url you redirect the customer to.

Terminal
curl -X POST https://paylio.org/api/v1/wallet \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer plio_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "address":  "0xYourPolygonWallet",
    "callback": "https://example.com/paylio/webhook",
    "amount":   "49.99",
    "currency": "USD"
  }'

When the customer has paid, PayLio sends a signed payment.paid event to your callback URL. Continue with the Create Checkout reference for every option.
