Introduction
Fees & Limits
Processing fees, fee pass-through, supported currencies and amount limits.
Fees by plan#
Fees are a percentage of each payment and are taken automatically when the payment settles. There are no setup or payout fees. Current plans are listed on the pricing page.
| Plan | Monthly | Card payments | Direct crypto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0 | 8% | 1.5% |
| Catalyst | $59 | 5% | 1.5% |
The card fee includes the 1% provider share. API keys inherit the fees of your account, so every integration is billed the same way.
Passing the fee to the customer#
By default you pay the fee and receive the order amount minus fees. If you enable Payer covers fees in the dashboard, or send passFeeToCustomer: true through the API, PayLio raises the checkout amount so that you receive the full order amount.
The customer is charged:
| Payment type | Customer pays |
|---|---|
| Card | amount / (1 − card fee) |
| Direct crypto | amount / (1 − 0.015) |
Example on Starter: a 49.99 USD order becomes a checkout of 54.34 USD. The response and the webhook contain original_amount and customer_fee_amount so you can show the split on your invoice.
Currencies#
Card checkouts can be priced in:
USD(default),EUR,CADandINR.
Card payments always settle as USDC on Polygon. Direct crypto payments settle in the coin the customer paid with.
Limits#
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|

| Decimal places | At most 2 |
| Provider minimums | Each on-ramp has its own minimum, e.g. Wert ~1 USD, Transak ~15 USD, MoonPay ~30 USD. See Providers. |
| Crypto minimums | Per token and network, shown when you create the payment. |

multi provider lets the customer choose any provider whose minimum fits the order, which avoids most minimum-amount errors.
