Settings#
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| PayLio API Key | Required. Create one in Dashboard › API Keys. |
| Merchant ID or Email | Your account email or the Merchant ID shown in Settings. |
| Settlement USDC Wallet | Your Polygon wallet (0x…) that receives USDC. |
| Card Provider | multi lets customers choose. Or set a single provider ID, see Providers. |
| Fee Handling | Absorb the fee yourself, or add it to the customer's total. |
| Title / Description | What customers see at checkout. |
| Debug Logging | Writes API and webhook activity to WooCommerce › Status › Logs. Turn off in production. |
How orders are updated#
At checkout the plugin creates a PayLio payment and redirects the customer. When the payment completes, PayLio sends a signed webhook to /wc-api/paylio_webhook/ on your store. The plugin verifies the signature, double-checks the payment with the API and then marks the order as paid.
Webhooks are sent once
If your store is down or a firewall blocks the request, the order stays on Pending payment. Check the payment in your PayLio dashboard and complete the order manually. Allow POST requests from PayLio to the URL above in any security plugin or WAF.Troubleshooting#
- Gateway not shown at checkout: make sure it is enabled and the API key and wallet are filled in.
- “Invalid API key”: the key was revoked or mistyped. Create a new one.
- Amount errors: the order total must be between 0.01 and 10,000 and above the provider minimum.
- Order not updated: enable Debug Logging and look for webhook entries. Then contact support.
