API Reference

Providers

On-ramp provider IDs, minimum amounts and how to send customers straight to one provider.

Default: let the customer choose#

If you omit provider or send multi, the checkout shows every provider that is available for the customer's country and the order amount. This gives the highest conversion and is recommended for most merchants.

Provider IDs#

Availability changes over time and depends on the customer's location. PayLio checks the provider when you create a checkout and returns an error if it is unknown or currently inactive.

Minimums are set by the providers and compared in USD at the current rate. The values above are approximate. If the amount is too low, you get 400 with code below_minimum.

Currency restrictions#

  • ideal and klarna only accept EUR.
  • interac only accepts CAD.
  • upi only accepts INR.

Other currencies return 400 with code currency_locked.

Send a single provider and the customer's email. The returned checkout_url then sends the customer straight to that provider's payment page.

curl -X POST https://paylio.org/api/v1/wallet \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer plio_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "address":  "0xYourPolygonWallet",

    "amount":   "99.99",
    "currency": "USD",
    "provider": "transak",
    "email":    "[email protected]"
  }'

The checkout_url ends in ?email=…&auto=1. Without an email, or with multi, the customer sees the normal checkout. See Create Checkout.
